This Saturday 11/16, I attended a really special event – something I did a simple rush invitation and program for. The event was called “A Bugle Call Remembered: Taps at the Funeral of President John F. Kennedy.” More than 100 buglers gathered to play Taps in remembrance of this 50th Anniversary.

Georgia Graves of Bridgman Communications also arranged for the original members of JFK’s Own Air Force Pipe Band to perform in the ceremony held in the Old Ampitheater and again at JFK’s Gravesite. Georgia is the one who hired me to work on the project. She was so grateful for my help that she thanked me on camera.

It was an event that really brought history alive and I’m so glad that my husband and I were invited to attend. I won’t soon forget it.
